San Agustín

This resurvey was divided in two. Bird census were carried out from the 2nd to the 6th of May, and the collecting expedition was carried out form the 2nd to the 13th of July 2021. The team of 14 expeditioners faced some fun challenges, including transporting an extremely heavy liquid nitrogen flask on a mule. Various of the ‘emblematic’ species that we were searching for appeared in good numbers, including the Andean Cock of the Rock, and the Dusky-headed Brushfinch.
