This resurvey was divided in two. Bird census were carried out from the 2^nd to the 6^th of May, and the collecting expedition was carried out form the 2^nd to the 13^th of July 2021. The team of 14 expeditioners faced some fun challenges, including transporting an extremely heavy liquid nitrogen flask on a mule. Various of the ‘emblematic’ species that we were searching for appeared in good numbers, including the Andean Cock of the Rock, and the Dusky-headed Brushfinch.
