Three researchers covered 21 point counts which resulted in records of 90 species of birds. Eleven additional expeditioners collected 344 specimens from 167 species. Finally, the female members of the team led an exclusively female run expedition to Fresno, a locality surveyed 100 years ago by Elizabeth Kerr (link to researchers of the past E Kerr), a wonderful female explorer who contributed to documenting Colombia’s avifauna from Tolima and the Chocó.
